Unfortunately, there are no overwater bungalows in Florida, or anywhere else in the USA for that matter, as these are specialist buildings that need certain conditions to be structurally viable – conditions which can be common in the likes of The Maldives or Bora Bora but sadly not in the Florida Keys.
But if you’re prepared to travel a little farther, you will find some fabulous overwater bungalows in the Caribbean – some of the best in the world in fact.
With that in mind below you will find our choices for, and full reviews of, the best overwater bungalows near Florida in 2024. All of them can be readily reached via Miami Airport as well as most other major cities in the US.
